Refund Policy

1. Overview

At InnoCanvas, we stand behind the quality of our Service. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, this policy explains the conditions under which refunds are available and how to request one. We aim to process all refund requests fairly and promptly.

InnoCanvas uses Paddle (paddle.com) as its Merchant of Record for all payment processing. Paddle is the legal seller of record for your subscription and processes all charges and refunds on our behalf. Your payment contract is with Paddle. Refund requests submitted to InnoCanvas are coordinated through Paddle's systems, and refunds are returned to your original payment method via Paddle. For billing inquiries you may also contact Paddle directly at paddle.com/support.

2. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a full refund within 7 calendar days of your first payment on any paid plan (Pro or Premium), provided that:

  • It is your first paid subscription on InnoCanvas (not a renewal or plan change)
  • You submit the refund request within 7 calendar days of the original charge date
  • You have not consumed more than 5,000 AI generation tokens during the period (equivalent to the Free plan's monthly token allowance)

Once a refund is issued, your subscription will be downgraded to the Free plan immediately. Any canvases you created under the paid plan remain accessible, but canvases that exceed the Free plan limit will become read-only — they will not be deleted. You may export or delete them at any time to stay within Free plan limits.

3. Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights you have under applicable consumer protection laws. Where those laws provide stronger protections than this policy, those laws prevail.

EU & UK Users — 14-Day Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer located in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a digital services contract within 14 calendar days of purchase, under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (Article 16(m)) and the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

However, by proceeding with your InnoCanvas subscription and accessing the Service immediately, you expressly request that service delivery begins before the 14-day withdrawal period expires, and you acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal once the Service has been fully performed. Where the Service has not been fully performed within the 14-day period, you retain the right to withdraw and will receive a refund proportional to the unused portion of the service.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, email us at support@innocanvas.site with the subject line "Right of Withdrawal — [Your Plan Name]" within 14 days of your purchase date. No conditions beyond this notice are required for a statutory withdrawal claim.

California Residents — Automatic Renewal

If you are a California resident, the following disclosures apply under the California Automatic Renewal Law (Business & Professions Code § 17600 et seq.):

  • Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the then-current rate unless you cancel before the renewal date.
  • You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • We will send advance notice before any material change to your subscription price or terms.
  • To cancel, go to Account Settings → Subscription → Cancel Plan, or email support@innocanvas.site.

If you are located in another jurisdiction that provides mandatory consumer refund rights broader than those described in this policy, those rights are not waived or limited by this policy. You may exercise them by contacting us at support@innocanvas.site.

4. Annual Plan Refunds

InnoCanvas offers annual billing at a discounted rate (Pro: $72/year; Premium: $120/year). The following terms apply to annual plan purchases:

  • Annual plans are eligible for a full refund within the 7-day guarantee window described in Section 2, subject to the same conditions.
  • Outside the 7-day window, annual plans are not eligible for pro-rated mid-year refunds for voluntary cancellations.
  • If you cancel an annual plan mid-year, you retain access to the paid tier until the end of the annual period you have paid for.
  • Refunds for annual plans may be considered under the exceptional circumstances listed in Section 6 (Partial & Pro-Rated Refunds).

EU and UK consumers on annual plans retain their 14-day statutory right of withdrawal regardless of the above, as described in Section 3. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK and have not waived your withdrawal right, you may withdraw within 14 days of the annual charge date and receive a full refund.

5. Subscription Renewals

For automatically renewed subscriptions, we will issue a full refund of the renewal charge if:

  • You request the refund within 48 hours of the renewal charge
  • You have not used any premium features since the renewal date. For this purpose, "premium features" means: AI canvas generation, export to PDF/PNG/SVG, custom branding, and any feature listed as Pro-only or Premium-only on the pricing page at the time of your subscription.

To avoid future unwanted renewals, you can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.

If InnoCanvas changes the price of your plan, we will provide at least 30 days' notice as described in our Terms of Service. If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel your subscription before it takes effect and request a refund of any amount charged at the new rate within 14 days of that charge by contacting us at support@innocanvas.site.

6. Partial & Pro-Rated Refunds

Outside of the 7-day guarantee window, partial refunds may be considered at our discretion in exceptional circumstances, such as:

  • A significant service outage (greater than 24 consecutive hours) that prevented you from using the Service
  • A billing error resulting in duplicate charges
  • A documented technical issue on our end that rendered core features unusable

Partial refunds are calculated on a pro-rated basis based on the unused portion of the subscription period. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for voluntary plan downgrades.

7. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Subscriptions beyond the 7-day guarantee window (except renewals within 48 hours as described above)
  • Partial months after a subscription has been actively used
  • Plan upgrades (mid-cycle upgrade charges)
  • One-time add-on purchases, if applicable
  • Accounts suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service
  • Promotional or discounted purchases unless stated otherwise in the promotion

8. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email us at support@innocanvas.site with the following information:

Our team will review your request and reply within 2 business days.

9. Processing Time

Once a refund is approved:

  • We will initiate the refund within 1–3 business days of approval
  • The refund will be returned to the original payment method
  • Depending on your bank or card provider, the refund may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement
  • We are unable to process refunds to a different payment method than the one used for the original purchase

10. Disputes & Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us before initiating a dispute or chargeback with your bank. We can often resolve issues faster directly.

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in your account being suspended pending investigation. Fraudulent or bad-faith chargebacks may result in permanent account termination and, where permitted by applicable law, recovery of outstanding amounts.
